Scale Carr from Barcelona started manufacturing 1/43rd scale model cars in the mid-1990s. The first products were Spanish emergency vehicles and taxis based on diecast models by Solido, Norev, Brumm, Bburago and AHC. A resin model of the Seat 1500 in the style of the Dinky Toys models from the early 1960s was added to the range in 1997. In 2002, Scale Carr introduced re-editions of the 1/43rd scale diecast models made by the Spanish manufacturer Mira in the late 1970s, with some slightly improved details. This range also included new variants such as the Seat 128 3p in authentic racing liveries. The company closed down in 2005.
